3rd Partnership bilateral meeting (Lisbon) - Equality Platform and Standard
Project Equality Platform and Standard holds 3rd bilateral meeting.
The Equality Platform and Standard Project held in Lisbon, on November 11, 2021, the 3rd bilateral meeting of the project partnership.
The third bilateral meeting of the Equality Platform and Standard project was held on November 11, 2021, in Lisbon, with the participation of representatives from all partner entities – from the Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment – CITE, promoting entity; the Portuguese Quality Institute – IPQ and the Strategy and Planning Office of the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security - GEP/MTSSS, national partners; the Equality and Anti-discrimination Ombud - LDO, Norway, and the Directorate of Equality (Jafnrettisstofa), Iceland, partners from the donor countries.
The meeting had the following objectives: to review the status of the development of project activities, namely the creation of the Portuguese Standard Equal Pay for Women and Men Management System and the construction of an online platform to monitor the implementation of public policies for gender equality within the Agenda for Equality in the Labour Market and in Companies, as well as the project budget implementation.
Discussion and reflection on upcoming bilateral cooperation activities were also promoted, which, according to the project schedule, will take place in Norway and Iceland, respectively in May and October 2022.
