The Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment (CITE) is the promoter of the project Equality Platform and Standard, financed by the Programme Work-Life Balance and Gender Equality of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism - EEA Grants 2014-2021 that has as Programme Operator the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG).

Sessões de divulgação online sobre a Norma Portuguesa NP4588:2023 Sistema de gestão para a igualdade remuneratória entre mulheres e homens - Requisitos e orientações
O Projeto Equality Platform and Standard, promovido pela Comissão para a Igualdade no Trabalho e no Emprego (CITE) e desenvolvido em parceria com o Instituto Português da Qualidade (IPQ), o Gabinete de Estratégia e Planeamento do Ministério do Trabalho, Solidariedade e Segurança Social (GEP/MTSSS), o Equality and Anti-discrimination Ombud (LDO) (Noruega) e a Directorate of Equality (Jafnrettisstofa) (Islândia) e financiado pelo Programa Conciliação e Igualdade de Género do Mecanismo Financeiro do Espaço Económico Europeu - EEA Grants 2014-2021, vai promover duas sessões online para divulgação da Norma Portuguesa NP 4588:2023 Sistema de gestão para a igualdade remuneratória entre mulheres e homens - Requisitos e orientações.
Estas sessões, com a duração de 1h30, serão realizadas através da plataforma Microsoft Teams.
As sessões decorrerão nos dias 01 e 18 de março, às 14h30.

Workshop on the Icelandic Equal Pay Standard (Iceland).
The law on equal pay certification came into force in January 2018, through additions to the provisions of the Icelandic Gender Equality Act. The immediate effect was the requirement that all ministries and organizations with 250 or more employees on an annual basis must obtain equal pay certification by the end of 2018. With minor adjustments to the initial objectives, this has meant that knowledge and practical applications have been gained on the implementation of gender pay standards, find out more about this workshop here.
